Today I am thankful for my home.
I am a perpetiual nester. I love to start projects around the house, and often have about four or five going at one time. I love to move furniture around. I love to decorate and redecorate and nest some more. It's never ending fun for me, and would be even more fun if I had an endless supply of cash for my dreams :) BUT what I sometimes forget to acknowledge and be thankful for is the house that God has blessed us with.
It was our first house as newlyweds. It welcomed our two children. It has been a resting place, a party place, a gathering place, a quiet place, a loud place. And most importantly a dwelling place for the Lord.
I am thankful for my house, because I am not deserving of it. I am thankful for my house because it has air conditioning, heat, running water, and it is a home for my family.
