Kate Started school this week and LOVED it! If she had an ounce of nervousness I would have never known because she was beaming with pride and excitement.
We woke up and had her favorite breakfast, cinnamon rolls of course, and took pictures of the sweet girl who was all to eager to put on her clothes the minute she awoke :-)
Then her Daddy and I drove her to school all the while remininscing where the time has gone!
The girl said "Bye Mom!" gave me a hug and said "Be good". Ha! I am glad she told ME to be good.
No tears.
Only smiles.
This Mamma got teary eyed (as usual) and couldn't stop thinking and praying for her all day. Little brother was a tad bit lost as well, wondering where his favorite playmate had gone. Sweet thing actually looked in each room for her when he woke from his morning nap--melt my heart!

Clearly, it was a good day. So all good days end with something sweet.
Kate was FULL of stories from her first day. Her teacher's note said she was great, great, great :-) and has a fun imagination-- (oh Kate wonder what you were up to!). Kate also was ecstatic to find that her favorite friend Kenzie from last year was in her class again! and we also found out in the same afternoon that she will be playing soccer this fall.
It was a day full of fun happy surprises and excitement!
